2. What Data We Collect

When you create an account, we collect:

Email address — used for account authentication and service communications.
Display name — the name you provide during signup, shown in your dashboard.
Study progress — questions answered, accuracy by topic, and session history, stored to power your dashboard and adaptive practice.

We do not collect payment information, physical addresses, or phone numbers.

3. How We Store Data

Account data (email, name, and authentication) is stored securely via Supabase, a cloud database provider. Study progress and preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage on your device. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

Authenticate your account and keep you logged in.
Display your progress and personalize your study experience.
Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset).

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or marketing to third parties.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. We use Supabase as our data processor, which operates under its own privacy policy. We may disclose data if required by law.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

LatiQuizz uses browser localStorage to save your study preferences and session state. We use authentication session cookies managed by Supabase. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate information in your profile.
Delete your account — use the "Delete Account" option in your Profile settings, which removes your account and associated data.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your email, name, and study progress from our systems within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

LatiQuizz is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of LatiQuizz after changes constitutes acceptance.
